We headlined the show and played our set without mistake. We know a lot of people were out of town, but we still had a great showing, so we would like to thank all the people who came out to our show the day before Christmas eve in spite of the crappy cold rain.  We played for about 45 minutes and was able to play most of the Requiem. We started the show with the Introitus and ended with In Paradisum. We didn’t play all the tracks in order though, we’re waiting to do that when we have enough time to play the entire Requiem in one set. We’ll keep you posted on when that will happen. Anyway, have a happy holiday and we will be playing again soon.

In other news, the search for a DJ is over, because I am going to DJ the sounds myself. I just got Ableton Live and am psyched to work with it. I even came up with a cool DJ name… djinnman. which I know is an oxymoron, so no emails about that. Send an email about something else, though, we’d be glad to hear from you.

Also, our website is finishing up its final touches and should be up soon. More on that later. Thanks to Kirrily for the cool graphics and Adam for his technical and design skills.

Tim and I have been practicing and we are excited to say that our show will be kickass. I will be doing a combination of DJing, Singing and playing Keyboards, and Tim will be using his guitar complete with his signature combination of effects. We’re also happy to announce that Ben Fowlie will be on board playing with his own signature bass sound. As for dates to shows, we’ll let you know as soon as possible. Keep a lookout for us in Boston/Cambridge, New York and a few other select cities.

the time has come for us to begin searching for a DJ. our album will be released this winter at which point we plan to tour in support of it. we also plan on keeping the stage show small, leaving out drums and vocalists. this is where you come in. we’re looking to keep this series of performances electronic, so this seemed like a pretty cool way to do it. by having our DJ run the vocals, there’s a lot more freedom for us to manipulate them. we would also ask that you not just play our beats, but to mix them up and complicate things a little.

we’ll start rehearsing just as soon as we find someone. if you’re at all interested, please feel free to write us here with any questions or ideas. if you’re into it, but this is geographically impossible for you and you would still like to contribute, we’re going to be taking submissions of remixes for a future release. so leave us your email, and we ‘ll send you out some of our unheard finished material.

On some level its difficult to be done with this phase of the project, but really Tim and I are quite relieved. We hope that everyone enjoys the album as much as we enjoyed making it. We will be posting some of the mastered tracks on myspace soon after July 20th.

In other news, we are excited to announce that we will be working with Artist Kirrily Anderson for designing our webpage and CD coverart.
