Requiem for a DJ

salutations,
the time has come for us to begin searching for a DJ. our album will be released this winter at which point we plan to tour in support of it. we also plan on keeping the stage show small, leaving out drums and vocalists. this is where you come in. we’re looking to keep this series of performances electronic, so this seemed like a pretty cool way to do it. by having our DJ run the vocals, there’s a lot more freedom for us to manipulate them. we would also ask that you not just play our beats, but to mix them up and complicate things a little.
we’ll start rehearsing just as soon as we find someone. if you’re at all interested, please feel free to write us here with any questions or ideas. if you’re into it, but this is geographically impossible for you and you would still like to contribute, we’re going to be taking submissions of remixes for a future release. so leave us your email, and we ‘ll send you out some of our unheard finished material.
